Sky-blue midweight cotton, cut oversized and boxy with raised white cloud artwork.

The clouds are puff print. Not embroidery, not a patch sewn on. Raised white sitting in the cloth, so it catches light from the side and throws its own small shadow. You can feel where it stands up.

They are everywhere. Scattered small across the front, the back and both sleeves, with one large spiral coiling across the centre back.

The body is almost as wide as it is long. Dropped shoulders sit well down the arm, the sleeves run wide to the elbow, the hem stops at the high hip. Built to hang, not to fit.

Heavyweight black cotton, dropped shoulder, cuffed tight. The state keeps the monopoly on violence. Someone should say the word out loud.

500 grams per square metre. That is roughly twice a normal hoodie, and about as heavy as cotton fleece is made. It does not drape. It stands.

Washed black, so it arrives already broken in instead of stiff and new. The colour goes softer with wear rather than patchy.

Everything on it is printed in one red. The emblem and the wordmark across the chest, the sun across the whole back with the address beneath it, the circled 18 on the sleeve.

The Dome on the chest, the whole back in Arabic, from the river to the sea down one sleeve. Nothing hidden.

Four prints on one shirt. The chest one is small on purpose, so the shirt does not announce itself before you do. Then the back carries 47 cm of calligraphy, corner to corner.

One sleeve takes the M. The other takes the sentence, in blackletter, running the length of the arm.

Two colourways, and they are not one shirt in two dyes. On cream the Dome prints black. On black it prints white and the calligraphy comes back in red.

The same conviction, built for the cold. Heavy cotton, hood up, nothing hedged.

Five prints, and one of them you have to earn. The whole back is calligraphy in gloss black on black brushed fleece. In flat light you will not see it. Turn under a streetlight and it arrives.

That is not a printing fault. It is the piece. It shows itself to whoever is standing close enough to be shown.

The sleeves do the speaking instead. From the river to the sea runs the full length of one arm in raised ivory puff. The map runs down the other in red.

Canvas, undyed, carries everything. The cheapest way to stand somewhere on purpose.

One side carries the stamp. The other carries the olive tree and a line we are not softening: stand with humanity.

Two ways to carry it. Long canvas straps over the shoulder when your hands are full. Short black webbing handles inside when they are not. Most totes give you one.

There is a pocket inside. You will find it when you need it.
